Every now and then a strip comes along to make you take notice. Really take notice. ‘Footprints’, is one of those strips. The script has a lovely ‘wisecrack’ delivery; the art is sketchy but the line work and wash works well with the subject matter. And what subject matter! Bigfoot is the ‘Private Detective’ hero and his colleagues range from a giant shark to the Loch Ness monster. Sounds strange? Yep - but it works! Sound absurd? Maybe…but it still works! Joey’s script will leave you laughing and reeling at the same time, while Johnny’s art is competent and provocative, with a lovely feel on blacks and shadows.

Told in four parts, this action packed story is well worth the effort; I followed it up immediately with another reading just to make sure I’d caught everything first time. I hadn’t! Spend a couple of dollars on this web comic and you won’t be disappointed!
